Welcome back! We sure have missed you! While we haven’t been entirely absent from the cyber world it’s been over two weeks since we posted on the blog because …..
This loveliness you now see before you was being created.
Of course Melissa and I are not responsible for this! If you know us personally you know that this particular skill set is not in our bag of tricks!
Jennifer Moye of A Momma’s Joy (http://amommasjoy.com/) has been working tirelessly to create this work of art for all of us to enjoy. You may remember Jen from her guest post of a few weeks ago:
Jen and I must have exchanged hundreds of emails and facebook messages over the past few weeks including during her time on vacation(!) with her family(!!) 3 little boys(!!!) in Florida. You will be hearing more about Jen in the future as I am honored to be on the launch team for her first book:
“A Gospel Christmas: Our Journey Connecting Santa and his elf to the story of our Savior”
If you have young kids obsessed with that darn elf on the shelf then you’re gonna love this book. But more on that later ….
Thankfully for all of us, Jen is going to continue to use her mad skills to help us make this site even more lovely and more user-friendly.
So here are a few things we have in the works:
Coming soon: a FREE downloadable 10 day devotional that will only be available to current blog subscribers. This 10 day devotional will focus on Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, and it will help you discover your own hunger and thirst for God’s Word by praying His Word. While, for some of us, Bible study may begin as an obligation, we hope to awaken your soul to desire and devour Scripture like never before.
You can check out a few of my previous posts on Psalm 119 here:
and here ….
and here ….
(And, just as a side note, having lots of blog subscribers will really help us when the day comes to pitch a book to publishers. You never know!! Seems in the publishing world, numbers are important. If you scroll back up to the top of this post you will find the subscription box on the right side of your screen. Thank you for helping us to get that eventual book deal some day. 😉 )
Now that we’re back, we will now be returning to our regularly scheduled programming of posting twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) here on the blog and we’re excited to have many new friends to introduce to you through upcoming guest postings.
And if you’re local we will be starting a new Bible study this summer at my (Tara’s) house, home of the lukewarm coffee and diet dr pepper (see our new welcome message in the About Us section.) 😉
We will spend 7 weeks going through the Open Your Bible Bible study by Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams of She Reads Truth.
If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you!! You can email or facebook message for more details.
And thank you all for all of your support and encouragement and prayers. We love and appreciate each of you so very, very much!
